Candle Cupcakes (Edible Menorahs).
14 cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies.
3 tablespoons saltless butter.
1 pint chocolate ice cream or frozen yogurt.
Fresh raspberries for garnish.
Grownup: Process 12 cookies in food processor up until very carefully ground.
In a little saucepan, melt butter. Eliminate from heat, add ground cookies and blend well.
Kid: Line muffin pan with 12 paper cupcake liners. Using your fingers, press cookie-butter mix along all-time low and up the sides of each liner. Remove the ice cream or yogurt from the freezer and let soften for a few minutes. Spoon ice cream or yogurt over each crust, filling the cups; press down up until smooth. Freeze cupcakes simply till mixture holds together. Eliminate from freezer and insert candle light in each cupcake. Refreeze up until strong.
Before serving, remove paper liners. Add raspberries to tops of 9 cupcakes, then organize menorah in a row or circle, positioning the center candle light, or shammas, on top of the 2 remaining cookies to elevate it.
Right away light the candle lights and state the blessings. (Of course, this is not suggested to replace the genuine menorah.) Make certain to burn out the candles prior to the ice cream or yogurt gets soft.
Makes about 12 cupcakes (9 for menorah plus a few leftovers).
